Apart from this, other areas such as Palsana, Surat, Nizar, Mahuwa, Ankleshwar, Allpad, Bardoli, Pardi, Patan, Khambhat, Gandevi, Umarpada have also received significant rainfall.

According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in various districts of Saurashtra and South Gujarat.

No red alert was issued on Tuesday, but warnings were issued in Dwarka, Jamnagar, Gir Somnath, Amreli, Porbandar, Gir Somnath, Diu, Junagadh and Bhavnagar. Coastal areas of Saurashtra may experience heavy to very heavy rainfall. Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod, Panchmahal, Navsari, Valsad Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli are under orange alert. Areas still under alert are now designated as yellow.

No red alert has been issued for the third day on Wednesday. Instead, orange alert has been issued in various areas including Dwarka, Jamnagar, Gir Somnath, Amreli, Porbandar, Diu, Junagadh, Bhavnagar. Heavy to very heavy rains can be expected over coastal parts of Saurashtra, some areas may receive heavy to very heavy rains. Apart from this, orange alert has been issued in Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod, Panchmahal, Navsari, Valsad Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli. Rest of the areas are now under yellow alert.
