LPG Gas Cylinder Prices :-

Gas cylinder prices are fixed on the first day of every month. Then there will be a change in the prices of commercial and domestic gas cylinders on August 1 . Last month, the government reduced the price of commercial gas cylinders. This time too, the government is expected to reduce the price of gas cylinders.

HDFC Bank Credit Card Rules Will Change :-

Customers using CRED, Cheq, MobiKwik, Freecharge and other such services to make payments will be charged 1% on the transaction amount, capped at ₹3000 per transaction . There will be no extra charge on fuel transactions below 15000 per transaction. However, transactions above ₹15,000 will incur a charge of 1 percent on the amount, capped at ₹3,000 per transaction. 

changes from August 1 New rules Under the new rules that are going to be implemented regarding fuel transactions, if the cardholder makes an oil payment of less than 15,000 rupees, no fee will be charged, but for transactions above that, a 1 percent charge will have to be paid. Talking about the payment of insurance premium, there is no additional charges to be paid on insurance payments.

Utility transaction rules will change :-

Transactions below ₹50,000 will not incur any additional charges. Transactions above ₹50,000 will incur a 1% charge  on the entire amount , capped at ₹3000 per transaction. Transactions through third party apps like CRED, Cheq, MobiKwik and others will incur a 1% charge , capped at ₹3000 per transaction. Revised late payment charge process based on outstanding amount from ₹100 to ₹1,300.

changes from August 1 New rules EMI processing charges up to ₹299 will be incurred on availing Easy-EMI option at any online or offline store. HDFC Bank will make changes to its Tata Neu Infinity and Tata Neu Plus credit cards from August 1, 2024. From August 1, 2024, Tata New Infinity HDFC Bank Credit Card users will get 1.5% NewCoins on UPI transactions made using Tata New UPI ID.

Changes in Google Map Rules :-

Google Maps has made important changes to its rules in India, which will be applicable across the country from 1 August 2024. The company has reduced its service charges in India by up to 70 percent. Along with this, now Google Maps will charge for its services in Indian rupees instead of dollars. However, this change will not affect general users as no charges have been levied for them.

Bank Holiday in August :-

August is coming. In the year 2024, banks will be closed for a total of 13 days. It includes all Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays. Banks will be closed for six days in the month of August due to Saturdays and Sundays . Apart from this, there will be seven days holiday due to various festivals. Banks will be closed on 15th August Independence Day, 19th August Rakshabandhan and 26th August Janmashtami.
