All the pregnant women of our country are getting benefit of 5000 rupees. Any pregnant woman who wants to apply for this scheme has to visit the Anganwadi and Health Center and fill three application forms.

To apply for Pradhan Mantri Gyastani Sahay Yojana 2023, pregnant women have to visit the Anganwadi or nearest health center and fill and submit the registration form. Under this scheme, Ministry of Women and Child Development is acting as nodal.

Pregnant women will get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Matrutva Vandana Yojana only after the agency  gives birth to the first live child  . Only those pregnant women who are 19 years or above can apply under this scheme.

Pradhan Mantri Matrutva Vandana Yojana  has been launched for the first time with the objective of providing nutrition to pregnant women. Under this scheme, a total of 12707 women have been benefited from 1 April 2020 to 28 June 2021 during Corona period in Lucknow district.

This information has been given by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Bhatnagar. The scheme is operational from January 1, 2017. Under which a woman who becomes pregnant for the first time is given Rs 5000 in three installments for nutrition. The first installment is Rs 1000, the second installment is Rs 2000 and the third installment is Rs 2000.

1. The main objective is to prevent first-time mothers from going to work in the period before and after childbirth.
2. For the purpose of resting, the amount of money earned by the labor should be given as compensation from the government in cash.
3. Pregnant women and pregnant women should get as much money as labor in cash and get necessary rest, as a result of which physical development of themselves and the child can take place.

The first installment amount is paid on registration within 150 days of conception, the second installment amount within 180 days and the third installment amount after delivery and after the first vaccination of the child. Efforts are being made to provide benefits of Pradhan Mantri Matrutva Vandana Yojana to every woman.

Pregnant women will now be given the benefit of this scheme in private hospitals as well, for which the health department has instructed to provide the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Matrutva Vandana Yojana 2023 to first-time mothers in private hospitals as well  .

For this, now pregnant women coming to private hospitals have to register for this scheme in any government hospital for the first time. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 5000 is transferred to the bank account of pregnant women in three installments after delivery.

CMO Dr. Manoj Aggarwal said that a meeting was held with private hospitals last week. He further said that pregnant women can avail the benefits of the scheme after registering with the nearest government hospital. Apart from this, the meeting of the District Health Committee held on Wednesday has also been instructed to speed up the matter.

Eligibility Criteria  for Pradhan Mantri Matru Vanadana Yojana

• After January 1, 2017, all pregnant women giving birth to their first child in the family and mothers of second child will benefit from this scheme.
• The period of pregnancy will be calculated as per the date of menstruation mentioned in the medical certificate of the beneficiary woman.
• In case of miscarriage or stillbirth-
• The scheme can be availed only once .
• Women who have miscarried or given birth to a stillborn child can benefit from the scheme in their next pregnancy.
• If the beneficiary has received the first installment of the financial assistance, after that the pregnancy occurs, the remaining installment will be given after deducting the first installment during the next pregnancy.
• Similarly, after deducting the amount of installment received, the remaining installment can be availed.

A beneficiary of the scheme has received all the installments of assistance before delivery. If a stillborn child is born, this assistance will not be available during the second pregnancy, but after the birth of the child, pregnant women will be entitled to the assistance provided.

Anganwadi workers, Anganwadi assistants or Asha worker sisters can get the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Matrivand Yojana if they are otherwise eligible beneficiaries.

• Through this scheme, pregnant women will be able to meet all the needs during pregnancy and after the birth of the child, they will be able to raise the child well.
• Under the Pradhan Mantri Matrutva Vandana Yojana,  the mortality rate will also decrease.
• The amount received under the Pradhan Mantri Gyastani Sahay Yojana 2023, Rs. 5000, will be directly transferred to the bank account of the pregnant women.
• Government employed women cannot avail this scheme.
